It delivered everything as stated. The view of Mount Fuji was perfect. Every comfort thought of and the house was spacious. Very easy to access buses and close by to other amenities.

This inn has everything outstanding! The old Japanese house vibe, excellent location, staffs’ and owners’ hospitality, etc. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Tokyo.

It definitely gives a historic look and traditional feeling. Heating was on when we arrived and the house was warm except for the bathroom on the hallway and the second floor. The kotatsu was the best, we all loved it.

The house is spacious, has all needed facilities clean new and functioning well. It was a great fit for our family and the location is very convenient. The host provided all needed information and provided books and brochures with recommendations as well as water as some sweets that made us feel welcome.

Living in a traditional big house is a unique and fun experience. Upon entering it, we took some time to explore all the spaces before sitting down at the elegant looking tea room to enjoy a cuppa and the snacks gifted by the owner. After taking a rest, we walked slowly to the nearest convenient store, a Family Mart, some 15 minutes away. It wasn't nearby but it was quite a pleasant walk as you would walk through a peaceful neighbourhood, paddy and corn fields surrounding by mountains. The house has everything you need to cook some decent meals. After many heavy meals around Japan, we only wanted simple dinners. So we bought ingredients for hotpot and made our own hotpot dinner for the two nights we stayed there. It was a good choice for family binding. Our mother loved it, so do we. The commonly used areas of the house looked clean but other areas weren't spotless, understandably it is difficult to maintain a house this size. As others have said, you get Mount Fuji view on the second floor. I'm happy that we chose to stay in a traditional house despite it costing higher than the hotel rooms or Airbnb within our budget. It becomes one of the highlights of our Japanese trip and is definitely a memorable experience for us.
