Room was much bigger than I expected, with lovely bathroom with excellent shower. Pretty views of church and castle. Good choice of breakfast. Friendly staff.

Staff were all lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. For breakfast, there was lots of choice. The food was cooked to order and was good quality. My only issue was there was only a bath and no shower or shower head in the bathroom.

The location is amazing, right opposite the castle, and parking behind the hotel was easy. The food, both breakfast and evening meal, was incredible. They have a fantastic chef and would recommend the food. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.

Lovely Christmas decorations throughout the hotel and the bar looking great especially with the open fire ! Food was good and had enough choices for all tastes.

Breakfast was very good. I had a full English, while my wife had Eggs Benedict - all fresh, and all ingredients a grade above what we usually get or expect.
