Opened in January 2013, Hotel Mercure Fribourg Centre Remparts is located next to the ancient city wall of Fribourg, a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Fribourg and the Cathedral. It offers stylish rooms with Art-Deco furniture, free WiFi and free private parking.

The best place ever. I arrived in the middle of the snow storm (ok, I am exagerating a little bit but I was not prepared to it) and I felt immediately at home. A warm, relaxing, clean, quiet environment, with kind, friendly and efficient staff. The room was perfect, equipped with everything that could be necessary and full courtesy sets. Breakfast time was very well scheduled, starting at 6.30 (I did appreciate that because it allowed me to reach my appointments' location timely). The variety of food and beverages was enough to satisfy any taste and preference. Congratulations to the whole staff for making this stay unforgettable. I'll be back soon in Fribourg to try les meringues avec double creme de la Gruyere (I am not sure this is the correct way to write it) and, if possible, I'll stay there 😉

I highly recommend this property due to the friendly staff, clean room, parking access, great location walking to the city center, and good vibe. This is the second time that we have stayed in this great accommodation.
