Nice hostel, great staff and location. Common area is quite spacious and nice. Few more table would have been great for sitting!

Big lobby, living room and kitchen, very spacious feeling. Good location. I had to wait a bit upon my arrival due to shift change. Clean bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Guitars to borrow, and a workbench(!) for minor repairs or so. There had been a common dinner on the evening I arrived, but I missed it.

The location - it's a 15 min walk from the hostel to the downtown (main sights) There's a kitchen where you can cook whatever you want. Besides they make coffee and tea for free in the morning. There's a big lounge where you can relax and commute with other travellers.

Convenient location - easy access to old town and walkable to train station / airport bus. Communal areas accessible and functional. Showers and toilets clean and hot water on tap.

Great location, right down the old town and the river. Very beautiful street, with parking lots and a parking building if you are traveling by car. Room was clean, bed shits soft and clean also, beds are comfortable. They have free wifi. Really nice lobby and kitchen space. You have plenty of space to work or just to hang out with friends.

Second time at the Black Forest hostel. Very clean hostel and our private room was quiet. Barely a 5-10 minute walk from the center of Freiburg.
