Budget hotels in Germany seem to be saving money at reception. This was a very pleasant exception. All reception staff very friendly and helpful, and always someone there. Good value for money and a reasonable breakfast. I would definitely come back.

The German breakfast was simple but good. All day coffee was available at the foyer. There is a walking path next to the hotel along a stream for a nice late afternoon walk or before the sun set.

The idea of the stay was quick access to Stuttgart and it was perfectly located for my needs. The town of Freiberg itself looks quite nice and the proximity to Ludwigsburg with its fabulous castle as well makes the hotel a very good option for exploring the area. Breakfast was also pretty good - a good tonus for the day ahead.
