The hotel is close to the central square, and breakfast has a nice ambiance. There was not too much noise outside the windows, so one could sleep well.

The location of Colonna is great. I was lucky and got an amazing quite and big room. During breakfast all was clean and tidy, but they could have a more complete continental breakfast. Overall I would recommend it.

The hotel is conveniently situated in the town of Frascati within easy walking distance to the railway station where excellent and very cheap trains take you to the centre of Rome in 30 minutes. An excellent bus service connects to the Rome Metro and to the neighbouring towns in the Castelli Romana. The hotel cafe/bar was closed for holiday on this occasion but there are numerous others close by. The hotel is clean and comfortable and provides a good buffet breakfast with freshly made coffee on demand.
