We got free soup on the day we arrived, it was great to end our day with a windy and cold weather. Even when the staffs were not there, all the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location is perfect.

Been here before, always a nice communal space, welcoming of everyone, the hosts make it as hospitable as they can. Free soup at nights are always great!

A good backpackers accommodation in Franz Josef. The area is very touristy. The shared kitchen is adequate, but lacking some capacity (especially working hobs). The free soup every day is excellent. Excellent DVD collection.

Guy that welcomed me was nice and helpful. It was good to have a fridge in the room as well as communal area. Hot tub was good but wish it was open later, at least until dark. Main area, TV room and kitchen were really good and well resourced.

Great overall experience. Facilities are nice, with a big communal kitchen (very well equipped) and storage space for food and fridge. Other perks like tv room, plenty of board games and free pop corn as well as daily veg soup. Room was comfy but on the smaller side. Benjamin was nice explaining on arrival and taking care of the facilities.

Good, could be more power outlets in the rooms cos I couldn’t charge anything including my phone but I get that it’s a fire safety hazard so whatevs that’s probably more important

Very welcoming with free popcorn at the reception (but the corn doesn’t pop very well) and free vegetable soup for guests in the kitchen everyday. Unit we had was great with a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave) within. Bed was clean and comfortable.
