Nestled in the foothills of the Franschhoek Mountains, Val d'Or Estate is surrounded by lush gardens and vineyards. Featuring elegant guestrooms and a pool terrace, it is 5km from Franschhoek’s town centre.

Offering a patio with panoramic views over the Franschhoek Mountains and the lush gardens, this spacious suite is elegantly decorated, including traditional wooden furniture and fine coloured fabrics. It comes with a seating area with sofa bed and satellite TV. Its en-suite bathroom is equipped with bath and shower. Please note that the price is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children and extra charges apply.

Arriving was a wow and to have a room that looked out to a small shared pool was brilliant. The setting is stunning. The couple before us took the safe key with them and the hotel arranged alternatives for us. This was appreciated. The location is a 10 minute drive out the centre of Franchhoek but uber did come. The internet was patchy but that seems to be normal when remote in SA. Breakfast was pleasant.

Such a beautiful hotel. The views were spectacular. The room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was amazing.
