La Villa is a truly outstanding place to stay when visiting Franschhoek. The entire staff were exceptional and so friendly, but Michelle went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Though we didn’t mention it at the time, we had recently gotten engaged, and our experience at La Villa made this special moment even more memorable. We stayed in the Chapel, which was stunning—spacious, private, and beautifully designed. Each morning, breakfast was a delight, and the wider facilities, including the pool, were fantastic. More often than not, we had the pool to ourselves, which is a rare treat elsewhere! On our first day, we joined the complimentary wine tasting and were truly spoiled by Michelle, who thoughtfully brought out some snacks for us. We loved chatting with her and learning about the history of the property. The property is located a fair walk from Franschhoek (Approx 15 mins) - something to bear in mind if you'd like to be closer to the main street but made absolutely no impact on our stay as we have visited the area before and wanted somewhere a little quieter. We couldn’t recommend La Villa more highly and will definitely be returning soon!

A gorgeous arty farmhouse, with a great breakfast and gorgeous pool. Also about 5 minute drive from the start of the wine tram. The host - Michelle was so lovely and gracious and helpful. Room was gorgeous, all done to a high spec.

The pool barn was fantastic. Lovely space and the view from the bedroom was superb. Staff were excellent and the property and grounds were great

We stayed in the beautiful Stone Cottage, set in the grounds of the villa and felt secluded and private throughout our stay. The room has all the original feelings and features of the old chapel, with the modern amenities you would expect. Extremely comfortable bed, quirky bathroom features and a nice large reception area. Our favourite part was waking up to the view of the mountains each morning. The grounds of the villa are stunning and well manicured. Complimentary wine tasting is a nice bonus and is stunning sat under the huge trees that tower over the main house. The pool area is beautiful and modern, and a nice unwind in the peace and quiet of the outskirts of Franschhoek.
