From start to finish our stay at La Clé Lodge was nothing but exceptional. We were welcomed with sparkling wine, big smiles and a very helpful team. We got a small tour of the beautiful grounds, indoor areas and our room. It felt ultra luxury but was still very personal. We received personalised notes each day with weather forecasts, chocolates and were gifted a wine bottle from their vineyard. The breakfast set up was fantastic, incredibly fresh, and the ladies cooking and serving were fantastic. Location was perfect, a walk away from central Franschhoek.

One of the most stylish decorated homes/hotels I stayed in. All done in the best possible taste yet still homey. Very inspiring. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional, everything you could think of was there or made upon request.

Beautiful peaceful surroundings and gardens. Lovely garden view room. Small, boutique. Excellent staff. Walk to Main Street and restaurants.

Everything about this place was magical. Stayed two nights and felt right at home. The lodge is stunning, and the private gardens are beautiful. Truly a little haven in charming Franschhoek. The staff were also lovely, making sure we were looked after. Shout out to the manager, Clifford, who made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable.
