Avondrood is a small Cape Victorian-style guest house in the historical part of Franschhoek. It features an outdoor pool set within gardens, a reception room with a fireplace and wine bar, and free Wi-Fi in the lounge and patio area.

Superior Double Room - enter dates to see room photos

This large room overlooks the garden and comes with an LCD TV with a CD/DVD player. The room also offers extra long beds, a tea/coffee maker and a bathroom with free toiletries.

Superior Deluxe Double Room - enter dates to see room photos

This room has a private garden and terrace and is close to the pool and garden area. It has an en suite bathroom with under-floor heating, Victorian bath and separate spacious shower.

The fully furnished upper level family suite has 2 bedrooms. There is a spacious bathroom with Victorian bath and separate shower, as well as a TV lounge with fireplace, and a private upper level verandah with mountain views.

Justin and Luca looked after us so so well. Booking us restaurants, wineries, planning transfers and day plans and even helping us to cancel some other parts of our trip that were cancelled due to covid and helping chase refunds. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Avondrood more. The guesthouse is in town but sitting in the beautiful gardens you could be in the countryside. Cannot wait to come back!

Everything! The room was enormous and super luxurious. the sitting area and bar were lovely, as was the pool. the staff, Justin and his team, were fantastic and so helpful. great breakfast too. We will be back. 😀
