View from the room exceptional as you can see the sea & mountains which change colour through the day. There are several beaches to walk to however Coral has a lovely natural semi protected swimming cove from its small beach. The food was homemade by the owner and exceptional & and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic small hotel with the amazing views over the sea. I'm super happy we choose this place for most of our stay in Crete. The place is run by super friendly couple , restaurant serves fantastic food with wide variety. Next to the hotel are some great smaller and bigger beaches without any crowds.

Hotel Coral is beautifully situated a stone’s throw from the sea and only a few minutes walk from the Frangokastello bay. But more importantly was the peace and tranquility: it was like going back 30 years. Staff were lovely and the food great. There is nothing fancy about this place - it is simple and the shower room is small but it is an absolute gem and spotlessly clean.

Hotel with its own little beach. Located just a hop and a skip away from the castle and main beach. The room was small and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic - we ate there all 3 nights! Specials menu changes every day. Two Austrian staff at the restaurant were lovely.

We had a black out (not the property’s fault) but then we heard the generator all night. But great location. Super clean and very nice people!

Lovely, quiet place with beaches at walking distance, as well as its own little cove where you can swim even when it’s very windy. The food is amazing, too. I definitely recommend to try the fresh fish!
