Wonderful hospitality in lovely surroundings with all we could have wished for in our accomodation. We had a very comfortable stay and had to tear ourselves away from the breakfast table and good company

Lovely homestay with great host and delicious breakfast. The location is great for seeing Fox glacier and Lake Matheson. We loved Trisha’s home baked bread and sweet treats. The breakfast spread was extensive and it was lovely to sit at the table chatting to Trisha, Collin and other guests. Our room was spacious with everything we needed.

Trish & Colin were so welcoming; they made us feel so comfortable in our lovely room and scrumptious breakfast. Trish’s advice on places to visit during our short stay were spot on and Colin’s woodworking and life stories were beautiful and fascinating.

The accommodation was comfy and quiet and the hosts were very friendly. The property had good parking and was within walking distance of a couple of nice restaurants. You were also within 5 mins drive of Lake Matheson which has a lovely walk and very good cafe. Helicopter tours to the glacier could be done from 10 mins walk down the road. It was an ideal location for a few nights during our drive up the west coast.

Fabulous insight into living in Fox Glacier and being part of an engaged community . Excellent breakfast and super view. Very good wifi . This is a place not to miss.
