Excellent location. The owner was very helpful regarding the amenities in the area and seeing the view of Fox glacier at the best time of day. We also were given 2 rooms at no extra charge due to last minute availability which was much appreciated.

Excellently located! Beautiful view of the mountains and very close to all the restaurants in town. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly think of! The owner Andy gave us lots of great advice about the area and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend ◡̈

Great location. The two bedroom unit had everything we needed and the staff were amazing even dropped off some toys for our baby to play with!

The owner personally checks you in who is a lovely man with a friendly and warm temperament. This is a family owned business and you can feel it. Little things like the heating in our room was on when we arrived after a cold of hiking in the cold. Great cooking utensils all clean, super comfy beds and it’s location next to a great restaurant and close to the Main Street (2 mins walk from the helicopter companies also) would stay again 10/10 lovely place!

Warm hospitality of the motel. Andy the owner is very helpful- send us all info before arrival. As we do not drive, he offer us a short drive to Lake Matheson n Also drove us to the bus terminal - as it was a wet morning,

Our stay was fine. The room was dated but comfortable enough- good shower, comfy beds. But it was poorly maintained. Our smoke alarm was hanging out of the ceiling, missing heat bulb in the bathroom so could see into the dirty roof cavity. TV was on loud car racing and the door wide open when we got there. It felt like someone had just finished their lunch break in our room.
