Motel Overview

Mt. Cook View Motel offers self-contained accommodation in Fox Glacier, with stunning views of Aoraki (Mt. Cook) and Mt. Tasman. It features free Wi-Fi, barbecue facilities and free parking.
All accommodation at Mt. Cook View feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a kitchen or kitchenette with cooking facilities. Electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities are included. Most rooms offer a spa bath.

Motel Mount Cook View is located just a 5-minute drive from Lake Matheson. The Fox Glacier Car Park is 10 minutes’ drive away. Hokitika is a 2-hour drive from the motel.

It was a quite a way off the highway it was clean glad we were only overnight as the cottage we had was very dated and the beds where very soft and uncomfortable

The dog! I arrived very late, and it was too dark to find my room, so I asked the dog, which sounds a bit crazy but believe it or not, she guided me right to it. It was amazing!! Everything are good, nice and clean!! Highly recommended!!

This is a great Motel. We stayed in some really nice places throughout NZ & I thought this would be a bit old & dodgy because it was so cheap compared to other places. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. It was clean, spacious & and the bathroom modern. Great value.
