From January 8th 2022, Costa Rica will require all travelers to present proof of vaccination to access Selina and all commercial establishments in the country. Before travel, a Health Pass must be completed by each individual and will generate a QR code which can be used to gain access to all establishments in the country. ‍ The QR code may be presented as a digital or paper copy and will grant entry to hotels, restaurants, bars and casinos, tourist attractions, shops and commercial centers, museums, gyms and spas, religious sites, event halls, theaters, cinemas, and sporting events. ‍ Everyone aged 12 and over must comply with the mandate, while those exempt from presenting the QR code includes children under the age of 12, and those with medical conditions that prevent them from taking the vaccine as confirmed by an official doctor's letter. ‍ Starting December 1st, tourists can receive their QR code after completing the Health Pass online. Please be aware that travel to Costa Rica is only recommended for vaccinated individuals, and tourism services will only be available to those who fit the mandate criteria. ‍ If you have any further questions, please contact our front desk at our Costa Rica locations.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Staff were so helpful and friendly, room was absolutely gorgeous with some special touches. Situated in a gorgeous spot by the river, the pool is amazing and a nice bar. Parking also available, one of our favourite spots in our trip to Costa Rica. Would highly recommend eating at tierra Mia down the road, the food was absolutely incredible

The Selina in La Fortuna has a great garden and pool area, a yoga deck and is lovely to relax outside. Good location to explore the city and ver helpful to book tours and shuttles at the front desk!

I stayed here for 6 nights and loved the property. Really nice pool and restaurant area, coworking space with really good wifi, yoga deck, saw so many animals there including a green iguana that was over 1m long and just walked up to the pool. The area is very well taken care of and people working there are extremely friendly.
