All staff were incredibly great. Even the chef and bartenders. They were always happy to help. We were very late to book a tour and a shuttle for our next destination and they helped us immediately. We had our tour with Charlie, highly recommended. Ask for him if you get a tour from the hotel! Super funny and friendly Costa Rican tour guide. Also, the happy hour at the bar is great, prices were really good. Highly recommended for those who want to have a fun time in Arenal.

Close proximity to everything, pool with hot waterfall, plenty of hammocks for relaxing. Good tour service.

The location was great, and yes its a hostel but it was alright. The pool and public area were great. The rooms a bit less.

Eddie in the van, music for everyone, a chat with all. Music for the young crowd but off by 10pm for the quiet seekers. Pool fab, cleaning fab, prices reasonable in bar snd for food. Shared kitchen s bonus for breakfast. Coffee on tap and cold water free. Wardrobe great! Comfy bed. Amazing huge shower with views of volcano

I loved the 6bed female dorm. Great bathroom, quite area, aircon. The staff were lovely and all very knowledgeable and happy to help. Great location, In the center of everything. Very worth a stay

Central. Very clean. The double room was spacious and the bed very large and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Everything worked! Warm greeting on arrival and friendly helpful staff. The tours I had booked via front desk were great value and an excellent tour company Jungle Tours. Great base for a couple of nights. Very peaceful in the mornings.

Cracking hostel, don't think la fortuna could possibly have anything better than this. Great fun, friendly people, nice room, good social area, and warm pool. They helped us organise our tours and the prices were fair. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is in the downtown area of La Fortuna, very close to all the restaurants and stores. The rooms are cozy and very quiet even though it is in the centre of the city. They also had a common kitchen area.

Staff was quite nice in general especially the lady at the front desk, super super nice and friendly. Dorms were totally fine, beds were comfortable. Pool was clean and really warm. Annoying at daytime, pretty cool at night 😉
