This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views.
The air-conditioned rooms and villas at Los Lagos Spa & Resort Thermal Experience are spacious and comfortable and feature scenic views. All have cable TV, a minibar and safe. Villas have a kitchenette and lounge. The standard and superior rooms are set in different areas of the property.
The hotel’s Los Lagos Spa & Resort Thermal Experience features gourmet, tropical dishes made with local produce. You can also enjoy a cocktail at the relaxing swim-up Lemnos Wet Bar by the seasonal outdoor pool.

Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff (even changed a tyre for us as we had a flat). Relaxed/fun atmosphere & very family friendly. Hot springs are stunning. Good food.

All the thermal pools were fantastic. The garden was amazing and the view for volcano breathtaking! Food was very good as well

The pools. Really fun . The location right under the volcano. Breakfast was busy but a great selection. The drive to the mirador which was fantastic. A lovely big room with great views. Fridge and coffe facilities which seem lacking in many Costa Rican hotels.,

Large clean room, excellent pools and a good breakfast. Food although quite basic was good and not too expensive. Lots of activities available and fantastic gardens to walk round. All in all a very good and enjoyable 3 day stay would be happy to return.

The location was wonderful, about a 10-15 minute drive from the town of La Fortuna, and a cracking location at the base of Volcan Arenal (both from the grounds and the viewpoint). We really enjoyed the thermal pools which are stunning and didn’t ever feel very busy, even with day visitors. There is plenty of parking near to the accommodation and the resort felt really safe. Plenty of choice for breakfast too which starts at 6:30am - perfect for filling up before a day of adventure
