The breakfast was phenomenal and they accommodated vegan options, the lodge was stunning in the middle of nature and the staff exceeded all expectation. William was kind enough to drop us to our next stop and we loved Anderson and Ashley going above and beyond with service and smiles!! Highly recommend and we’d love to come again.

The location is unparalleled, we had a balcony view overlooking the rainforest and Mt Arenal. It was utterly stunning to sit in the hot afternoons lazing the hammocks and view the tropical landscape. Its close to a small town, plenty of available food options, but we ate at the hotel restaurant most nights. The food was utterly gorgeous, everything tastes wonderful. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and always willing to answer questions or book trips to help you visit the local area. The room was huge, we had our own hut, with large balcony, a food prep area and coffee machine. The beds were comfy, we had three for our family of 4 and we had a fan which was enough to cool us at night. The toilet and shower were basic, but we didn't care, the location, the gorgeous hut, the veranda and hammocks, and friendly staff all made this the best stay. We saw so many birds here, hummingbirds outside our hut, toucans, toucanettes, just so many birds I'd waste the review listing them all, we will absolutely be back. I only wish we could live here!

The location is just fantastic, with beautiful rainforest surrounding it and the ability to witness animals in their natural habitat from the comfort of your balcony. The staff were all hugely welcoming and friendly, in particular Anderson. All of the meals we had were delicious, and we loved the different juices each day. The river walk we did was joyous, and we learnt lots of interesting facts from the guides. It included a waterfall, which was perfect for pictures. Overall, it was a fabulous experience. I would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful place to stay nestled in the rainforest outside of the town. The hosts, William and the young boy (sorry i forgot his name) were really welcoming. The adventure tour was awesome! but be prepared to get very wet (walk in the river up to shoulders deep). such beautiful features on the property- the waterfall, lots of little tracks, one natural pool with some clay ready to scrub yourself, another artificial pool.

Location! Incredible view from outside on the balcony, I spent all my awake time sitting out here + loved cooking outside. Hammocks great for reading & chilling. Obviously insect friends visited when outside if the lights were on at night but that’s part of the connection with nature. It’s a good size and has 2 showers, we loved using the outside one in the morning with the view over the jungle. Definitely allow time to explore the grounds which is an adventure in itself, both pools, the river and two waterfalls.
