We felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The rooms, the veranda with hammock, and the pool and jacuzzi are all great places to relax after a long day. Also great that you have the opportunity for dinner on the farm in case you don’t want to drive anymore. Lastly, we did an amazing quad ride organized by La Finca Lodge, which we would recommend to everyone.

We stayed for three nights during New Year's and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, and the room was spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were both delicious and reasonably priced. The pool provided the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

La FInca Lodge is a perfect place to calm down and relax on the countryside. The rooms are huge and have a big bathroom and a nice hammock to forget about your everyday life. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and had many recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious and served on a nice outdoor terrace. The property of the finca itself is huge, there is a lot to explore. A highlight outside the finca were the blue falls, which were recommended to us by one of the staff members.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa and the accommodation was excellent, so private & relaxing & yet so close to the facilities on offer. The hammock on the patio was gorgeous, the kitchen facilities were of a high standard, the shower & bathroom facilities were very good & the bed was big & very comfy but what a view to look out on from the bed. Plus it was all extremely clean. All staff members were extremely welcoming & helpful & the food served in the restaurant was well cooked, & even though we are vegan & my husband is a Coeliac & gluten intolerant, this wasn't a problem. We booked an A.T.V. experience with La Finca which turned out to be a real extreme sport, & the thermal springs which we went to were really lovely (we had them to ourselves). We put swimwear on under our clothes, (don't put any decent shoes on as they get very muddy) & there are changing rooms at the thermal springs where you can dry off & change. There is also a small snack bar there where the coffee is delicious. Roland was our driver on our transfers to/from La Fortuna & he was just great. We loved our conversations with him, he is so knowledgeable, interesting and is a real film buff. (ask him about Meryl Streep). Would we stay here again, yes, most certainly.

Very quiet and incredibly beautiful place. The hotel territory is a huge garden with paved paths and only 11 bungalow rooms. Everything is very clean, neat and tastefully decorated. There’s a nice restaurant opened for breakfast and dinner. During the day the hotel can organize a horseback riding or an ATV experience. A definite recommendation!

Comfortable room with good view. Swimming pool. Ambiance. Excellent staff. Big thanks to Mariano especially for helping me plan the route for the next 2 weeks ! The breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed our daylight walks and saw fair bit of wildlife.

Beautiful lodge! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Gave some great advise on where to go as arenal has a lot to offer, but is also very touristy. Good breakfast and restaurant has good food for dinner (same price as other restaurants). Room was super clean, spacious and very nicely decorated.
