Jana “Amazing family run boutique hotel with caring owners”

Everything was clean, and all the staff was so nice. Tasty huge breakfast on the covered patio at the back of the property with views of a bird feeder. We saw even the toucans! The owner has a telescope to let the guests view the birds. It felt special to have Leo lead the night tour of their garden to look for frogs, for every guestroom separately (we stayed 3 nights). The beds are huge and comfortable. There are 3 AC units in the huge main room which has 2 sections for 2 of the king beds, and the cold air overflows into the 3rd bedroom too. Beautiful heated pool with sunbeds. It is only a couple of minutes to drive/taxi into La Fortuna town for many restaurants and services, and some of the attractions of the area are closeby (La Fortuna waterfall, El Salto, some of the tours / farms - we visited Finca Educativa Don Juan behind the property and liked it a lot). We could have had laundry done too. Communication excellent. We wish them all the best!

The hosts are amazing. The condo is very big and clean. Everything you need and more! All the tips for the surrounding area where great. There is a garden behind the main area with all kind of amazing birds, toucans, frogs and even an armadillo. The host gives a great night walk!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We took the kids in the free frog eat. Hong tour which was great. A lovely family run place.

Our stay was perfect - it’s a family run hotel with apartments with plenty of space and a kitchen, and we loved it. Room was clean and we were provided with every thing we needed - if we needed anything they were happy to help. Breakfast was great and the frog tour on our first night was really special, it was raining so we put our coats on and saw a lot of frogs! - we went back to walk around the garden every day we stayed to spot more frogs! There were monkeys in the trees too. You can walk to La Fortuna town in maybe 35 minutes, or get a cheap taxi up in a matter of minutes. Each room has its own parking bay and table outside to sit.

Hospitality and personal touch from the owner. Very nice frogs garden, which could be visited during the day or at night. A lot of place in the room, with all appliances.

This place is made by its people. The manager Leonardo is the soul of this small hotel. Maybe it’s not much fancy and chic but it’s really nice and clear. You have breakfast at the terrace together with colourful birds and squirrels who are having their breakfast. There’s a small but well cared pool. And don’t forget about frog tour with Leonardo.

The Hosts and the staff at this Accomondation are just amazing. Everything was fine in the cabines,, we received help for all our questions, the nighttour in the garden was very nice with much information from the host and we had the luck to see howlermonkeys from the breakfastplace on one of the 3 days of our stay. The even helped with the telescope to see the monkeys.
