The fine print
We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 4 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.
Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families.
We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in.
Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus.
We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services.
Drugs and any substance abuse is strictly banned inside and around the property.
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in and around the property premises.

The beds were clean and the normal hostel rooms seemed to be alright (without having used them). Staff is friendly and welcoming.

"I had an amazing stay at Zostel Fort Kochi! The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of Fort Kochi, within walking distance to all the major attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Praveen and Joe, two of the staff members who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable! They were always available to answer my questions, offer recommendations, and share stories about the local culture. The hostel organized a great Kerala dinner and cultural night during my stay, which was a wonderful way to experience the local traditions. The common areas were cozy and inviting, and I loved the quirky decor throughout the hostel. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great selection of options. Praveen and Joe were the highlights of my stay - their enthusiasm, knowledge, and kindness made all the difference. They helped me plan my itinerary, recommended the best local spots, and even took me on a tour of the nearby markets. Their passion for Kochi and its culture was infectious, and I left feeling like I'd truly experienced the best of the city. Overall, I would highly recommend Zostel Fort Kochi to anyone looking for a fun, social, and comfortable place to stay in Kochi. A wonderful home. You feel like at home. Their staff takes care of all your needs. They are very warm and hospitable. The location is very close to the beach. The rooms are clean. Everyone is smiling. I definitely recommend it.
