Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of spaces to relax in addition to the dormitory rooms. One of the few hostels that offers meals on site as well as a kitchen for guests to prepare their own food.

Everything was just superb, I enjoyed my stay! The location is very convenient, the bus stop is near. The room was clean and warm. The self-catering breakfast was good. Peaceful, quiet, very relaxing. Cafes and restaurants nearby. Will come back when in Scotland again

I stayed here for one night while travelling to Skye. Great location - just a short walk into the centre of Fort Augustus - with plenty of free parking. Good facilities with meals/ breakfast available and a bar in the property which gave a good opportunity to meet fellow travellers. I stayed in a four bed dormitory which had its own bathroom/ shower - would have been ideal if travelling in a small group. Great value for money and everything was spotlessly clean! Would definitely recommend.

The shared spaces were incredibly inviting and the continental breakfasts were a bonus at a fair price. I also liked the swiftness in which an incident that occurred was handled. Very prompt

Lovely warm & comforting place, even in the off season with no one around. I felt very welcome & enjoyed the quiet time. My room was cosy & clean & I slept well.

Everything, warm and cosy, plenty of communal space, great leather sofas. Laid back atmosphere clean form and showers and toilets. Breakfast great value. Made to feel welcome in this beautiful part of Scotland.

The whole place was clean and tidy, location was perfect, rooms are secure and they use a keycard instead of regular keys. It was my first time staying in a mixed dorm but definitely felt safe!
