The room and staff was verynice, the location is beautiful. Breakfast was good, it starts at 8 am, but when we came the lady asked us if we wanted to have breakfast at 7:30, because we went skiing to Obertauren, which is around 30 min away. They also offered us eggs, but we almost already finished the breakfast.

We picked Winklhütte for a birthday celebration/skiing trip and we couldn't have picked a better place. The place was wonderful, with very welcoming hosts. The apartment was very cozy and warm. Felt right at home. It is located among beautiful mountains so it's perfect for a hiking trip or as a starting point for nearby skiing resorts. We will definitely return!

A rustique and simple hut with not a lot of luxury but very charming. And a sauna in the adjacent apartment block. The stube next door is also cosy.

Location is amazing right in the forest up the hill at quiet place. Staff was friendly, good restaurant and bar too. Apartment was new and clean so was bathroom.
