There were a number of slats missing in the single bed which meant that the bed was uncomfortable. We tried the bottom bunk and found it more uncomfortable because there were loose slats in that bed too. Peaceful place; loved the connection with wildlife and general ambience of the place.

The location was ideal, have never stayed in a forest before. Woke up to the sounds of the birds and natural wildlife. Short distance to shops and restaurants, had an enjoyable experience.

The cottage is about 15km from Margaret River with easy access to Bussell Hwy and the Caves Rd, so pick your destination and go explore. Plenty of places around to get good fresh and processed meats or dairy products for BBQ dinner or breakfast in the cottage. Secluded location, quiet and peaceful with plenty of wildlife - birds, kangaroos, possums etc.

Loved the seclusion, serenity and cosiness of our cottage, the bush setting, wildflowers, kangaroos that peeped into bedroom window, bandicoots that came for dinner, possums we heard but did not see and so many birds. Cottage was spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom a good size. We didnt use the spa or washing machine. Caretakers responded quickly when we had an issue. Though secluded we were still not far from all the attractions the Margaret River region has to offer. Harmony Forest Cottages has become our new first choice for accommodation in this area.

We loved the location and the privacy. The forest around the house was beautiful and peaceful! The house was neat and tidy and had all the necessary amenities.

Settled outside of Margaret River , on the way to Augusta, in a bushland property near a lake. Beautiful spot. Bed was comfortable, lovely setting. We could take our small dog, nice walking trails around the property.
