The booking in the restaurant should be under reservation.Guest should book the restaurant in advance.Please note that the property does not have a 24-hour reception, so check-in and check-out times must be confirmed. For different arrival times, please contact the property.- Every guest has a guest Special Wine Tasting provided - everyday at 18h00 (23rd March – 10th November) or at 16h00 (11th November – 22nd March). Winery tours and other tastings available upon request.- Quinta do Tedo also has a partnership with The Geadas Brothers, Michelin star restaurateurs from nearby Bragança, they bring to Douro a signature cuisine in which Portuguese tradition is a combined with creativity and innovation - come delight your palate and reserve in advance by emailing [email protected].- Guests of Quinta do Tedo can relax and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, which has views over Tedo River and Valley. Free bicycles are provided, for guests wishing to tour the region in a leisurely fashion.- An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including Gourmet Wine Picnics, hiking, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding (available April through September), and bird watching. Kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets and binoculars provided for free. Picnics can be reserved in advance.- Vila Real is 44 km from the unit. Viseu is 80 km away. Porto International Airport is a 95-minute drive from Quinta do Tedo.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

A really nice place to stay in the Douro Valley. We were in Tawny and it was warm and cosy on a wintry night, with a lovely view across the rio Tedo, vineyards and olive groves. The bed was firm, the shower hot and strong and we appreciated the gift of local chocolates, as well as the kettle and cups available in a communal space for an early morning brew. The cork-lined walls had a faintly sweet scent, quite unexpected but comforting and natural and good. Breakfast was excellent with seasonal fruit and yoghurt, fresh bread, cold meats and cheese. Unfortunately we were unable to experience the complimentary wine tasting offered to guests, but the cellar door area looked very welcoming. The Quinta had such a peaceful atmosphere, we would have liked to have stayed more than one night.

The room was cozy and the Quinta has everything expected of the region: wine/port tasting and regional cuisine at the restaurant. The views of the vineyard are amazing from the room & restaurant.

They include a nice wine tasting with your stay. It is great they do this; other quintas should do the same!
