The location and Quinta itself are beautiful, the setting of the Douro Valley is so scenic and pretty. Highly recommend having dinners at the Quinta, my partner and I initially were only going to eat there once, but ended up eating both nights of our visit because their cooking is so amazing! It was some of the best food we had in Portugal, lots of local/homegrown ingredients, generous portions, every aspect of it was delicious, just amazing dinners. Nuno and Cristina are so friendly and hospitable and it just felt like such a nice comfortable place to spend a chilled few days in between city breaks for us. It was sunny but not too warm when we visited so we didn't spend too much time by the pool, we did brave it for a cold dip and it was lovely but I imagine that would be great on a hot day too as the outdoor area is also great. We would absolutely recommend visiting :)

Great breakfast ... even better dinners available. Quiet lovely location. Handy for train to Pinhao. Good English spoken by charming hosts.

Nuno and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was so charming and clean, and the whole property is super lovely. Every meal they prepared for us was wonderful, some of the best we had in our trip to Portugal. Would highly recommend.
