The place is really close to the entering bridge if the island so that was the reason why I’d booked the bed in there. People at the front desk are friendly and nice, however a very poor english is spoken. The dorm bed is comfortable and there is also an AC in the room with a remote control in the room. They offer tours to Tikal for a good price. I payed something around 15€ for a guided tour and transfer there and back which took nine hours.

Location is great, easily accessible from bus terminal. Well-lit, secure with frequent police patrols. Shops and restaurants aplenty. Air-conditioning was great.

bed was incredibly comfortable, room was private and the hostel was quiet. The a/c is a true blessing. Very friendly staff and helpful. Close to stores, tours and restaurants.
