Hotel Overview

Hotel Bodoni is 500 metres from Florence Cathedral. It provides free city maps and free Wi-Fi in public areas. A varied breakfast buffet, with eggs, cold cuts and cheese, is served on its city-view terrace.

Everything was nice! We really appreciated that they cleaned our room even though it was just for two nights. Also, it was very close to everything you want to see in this city!

The best thing about this hotel is the location, walking distance from everything you want to see, do and enjoy. The staff are pleasant and friendly, the food rather dull, and the building has seen better days, which gives it a kind of vintage charm.

Authentic, cozy, beautiful hotel. It was our second time visiting Florence and both times we stayed there and were absolutely satisfied. Big thanks to the friendly and helpful staff!

The location was good, a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its attractions. The rooms and lobby are located on the fourth floor (there is a lift - don't worry!), there is a buzzer to let you in at the ground floor so look out for that. Being on the top floor, you can have breakfast inside or on the terrace and there is a also solarium on the roof. Staff were very helpful when needing extra towels; directions; sorting out the breakfast etc.

Fanastic location, within minues of many of the major attractions. A small family style hotel, which is basic but all you need for a stay in Florence.
