Andrea . the owner/ manager is very helpful & friendly / everything was easy , clean & comfortable ( ask him about the secret rooftop ( great views over Florence ) Btw- I had stayed there 2 years ago , and the standards and the welcome are still excellent. The location is great = a short walk to most of the northside of Florence

The location is fantastic. Very close (walking distance) to the main sightseeing destinations in Florence. Very close to the market and to the tram station. The staff was really friendly and open. We felt very comfortable.

The experience I had with Casa Souvenir Maya was amazing! The people of the Hotel were very sweet and gentle, and the room was beautiful. Apart from that, the location was amazing as well; not too crowded but still in the centre of Firenze. In general, absolutely amazing!

The main attraction is the location, which is excellent given the price point. The bathrooms are shared but were very clean; the room itself was large, well-appointed and serviced daily. Free tea and cookies, and a very reasonably-priced coffee machine, were a nice bonus.

The owner was a delightful human being, very helpful and kind. I loved that there was a cappucchino machine for the guests, although it wasn't always working, but there was also a table with teas and hot or cold water machine always available. The building is an old renovated theater, charming and funky and authentic. The building was near a park and restaurants, and very near the Palazzo dei Congressi where my conference was being held,

Fantastic location, walking distance for major tourist attractions and the station. Very characteristic building with antique furniture throughout. staff are all helpful and friendly, view from the rooftop terrace is breathtaking, we really enjoyed staying there. Grazie Andrea!!

The host - Andrea - is a magnificent person: friendly, welcoming, charming, ready to help if you have any questions or requests. The building and the interior are very authentic, with some history. It's not high-end or modern, but, in my opinion, that's not a downside because it's something you shouldn't expect, after all. I would say that it is particularly a great place to stay for those who travel by themselves. Also, the rooftop terrace has a magical view over the city. The location of the property is fantastic, because the entire historic city centre starts around the corner, so you can easily get from/to any place at any time on foot. Hint: of course you'll get navigational tips on how to get to the place {it's quite tricky for a first timer}, but what helped me the most was that the entrance is next to the Florence Station Rental in the same building.
