Hotel Overview

Just a 10-minute walk from Florence Cathedral, Hotel Diplomat is in the historic centre, near Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Rooms come with free WiFi.
The Diplomat offers modern rooms with private bathroom, satellite TV and air conditioning. Some rooms enjoy views of the rooftops of Florence. Guests will also find tea, coffee and cappuccino in their room.

Every aspect of the booking and during our stay was handled efficiently & with top class attentive & caring customer service. The breakfast was wide ranging & everything was fresh and tasty. The location was convenient near the station although the trams can be quite noisy, but we expected that. The room was clean & fresh & the bed comfortable The Management left us a thoughtful job gift in our room on arrival & again before check out which we could not take due to lack of space in our Ryanair sized carry on bags but the gesture was kind and appreciated.

The location was perfect as we could walk pretty much anywhere we wanted in Florence within 20 mins but also be right alongside the main train station for day trips and for getting to and from Pisa with out luggage.

The front staff at reception, including M.Burgio were exceptional. They were extremely friendly and so helpful with everything we needed. I could not recommend them highly enough. The location was excellent right next to the train station but within walking distance to all of the major sites in the Florence Centre the hotel breakfast was of excellent quality and the kids loved it!
