Being able to experience “the land” - red dirt and all!! We stayed in the Overseer’s Cottage for four nights. Needed that amount of time to explore the Flinders. The cottage had everything to be self contained. Make sure you bring enough supplies for your stay. Directions were spot on for arrival. We felt SkyeTrek to be very central and a better area than others if wanting to drive to Blinman and Parachilna (to experience feral dining)! We highly recommend Skytrek.

Clean comfortable cabin in a beautiful quiet bush setting.magnificent sunset at stokes hill. Lots of bush walks. Staff.very hospitable. We will return.

Was fantastic. My only complaint was after a very short shower the hot water ran out and my son had to have a cold one. Not much to complain about considering how great the place is.

Staff extremely helpful, especially in suggesting interesting places to go and giving directions. The Stockmans Lodge was wonderful - spacious, clean and comfortable with a great view.

We liked the area where the station was located. Interesting walks were possible within the boundary of the station. The cabin we stayed in had enough rooom to accommodate two people, although it could sleep five. There was a small table with chairs inside and also an outdoor one on a deck, next to a gas BBQ. Kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery. Small TV was there and also an old aircon unit. Fire pit was prepared in case we wanted to have a bon fire. The owner was very friendly and helpfull.

Thank you for this warm welcome and all the tips! The cabin was great, rustic but this is why we came for ! The road is unsealed for two km but easy to drive.

We enjoyed our stay very much and it provided a great outback experience with sunset views at stokes lookout and an amazing stargazing night sky.
