The fine print
Calders Hotel has a generator. According to city by-laws, the generator cannot operate between the hours of 23h00 and 06h00. In instances of 4-hour load shedding, the generator will only operate for 2 of these 4 hours. Please note that the air-conditioning units do not operate whilst the generator is operating.Dear visitor, within this region we are currently experiencing drought conditions. Please be aware that certain properties will need to comply with local water usage restrictions.

Nice, spacious room with comfy bed. Great to have a well working airco. Breakfast nice and fresh. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is literally almost located on the beach and very, very near to all sorts of restaurants. Parking space available. Recommend it!!!

this is our second stay at Calders and again was not disappointed. This place is home from home. Super friendly helpful staff who make you feel like family when you arrive. Location is perfect and the beach is a win being able to walk across at leisure. Will easily come back again - Loved our stay!

A charming little hotel with an old world feel. Breakfast was great. But the staff really make the experience what it is. The most welcoming and caring ladies at reception and during the breakfast service.

The room was large and spacious with air-conditioning. The location was very good although our purpose was not a beach visit. The buffet breakfast was better than expected.
