Calders Hotel has a generator. According to city by-laws, the generator cannot operate between the hours of 23h00 and 06h00. In instances of 4-hour load shedding, the generator will only operate for 2 of these 4 hours. The staff were extremely helpful, informative & friendly, any changes we needed to make they were very accommodating with. The room was clean on arrival and everything we needed was there. The view from the sea facing room was superb, amazing to wake up and watch the sunrise in the morning. Very pleased with the overall experience

The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Size of the room was exception - bed was wonderful slept like a log. Breakfast area was lovely sea view and very comfortable.
