We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reethi Beach Resort. From the moment we landed on the island we felt very relaxed. It has a lovely atmosphere and feel to it. The staff in the restaurants and all around the island were always very friendly and attentive. We ate breakfast at the main restaurant and other meals at the smaller restaurants and the food was delicious everywhere. The breakfast buffet was the largest I have ever seen. The house reef was great - so many different types of fish. We saw a shark and a ray from our water villa. There were 3 of us staying in a water villa (my husband and I and our daughter) and the rooms were definitely spacious and well laid out for 3 people. We had plenty of drinking water each day and fresh clean towels. We did not pay extra for Wifi in the room as there are plenty of places around the island to access Wifi. We arranged a sea plane transfer and this worked so well. We barely had to wait at all once landing in Male to be transferred to Reethi Beach and the same on the way back. The seaplane transfer option definitely maximised our time on the island. I would definitely recommend Reethi Beach Resort.

From the moment we arrived the whole experience at Reethi was wonderful… superb Maldivian style room right in the beach and an amazing house reef steps from the shore we saw turtles , Wray’s, sharks and so many fish … our 5 th trip to the Maldives and Reethi had the best house reef we have seen . Staff all very helpful nothing too much trouble , food excellent … we will be back !!!

The staff was so kind to us, especially Modé (bartender) he was always friendly, he made us feel welcome, and he knows how to get you in a relaxed vibe! The food was amazing at the main restaurant and the sea view everywhere was fantastic!

We stayed in a water villa where the view from the balcony and the walk to breakfast each morning was incredible with spectacular wildlife all around you. The cleanliness was top as the room was refreshed twice a day if needed. Special mention to Rubel and Chandana in the kitchen who were always making sure we were happy and were so friendly. But overall, all the staff were great! Would love to come back one day insha'Allah.

It was a perfect holiday! Very friendly staff, amazing beaches and view! Good food, a choice of different restaurants. Great diving school on the island, offering Manta snorkeling tours and scuba diving tours. Cleaning of the room twice a day (which we did not use all the time, because it simply was not necessary). We would definitely recommend this place!

As a family of four that loves marine adventure, this was the holiday of a lifetime for us! From the moment we stepped onto the Reethi Beach jetty we were overwhelmed by the natural beauty and nods to traditional Maldivian culture. This is not a flashy, gaudy resort, but rather a natural paradise that blew us away from the first glimpse. We stayed in two sunrise villas that were spacious and cool under the rainforest canopy, complete with outdoor bathrooms, perfect for drying our swimwear and diving items. The house reef is exceptional, with amazing visibility and constant interactions (colourful schools of fish, little reef sharks, turtles, spotted rays, blotched rays). Our breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with Rubel always making perfect omelettes with a smile. Between Moodhu restaurant, The Grill and Rehendi options, dining was flavoursome and affordable. Our kids enjoyed pizzas, pasta, burgers and mild curries, with Reefa always providing professional and courteous service. We loved the beach buffet barbeque and Rehendi buffets, along with an exceptional lamb masala wali chaap at The Grill. We could not rate Ocean Fanatics dive centre highly enough- Mel and the team were friendly and accommodating and Anif provided the most extensive dive briefings we have ever had. We completed 3 scuba dives (Baa Atoll) with the centre as well as whale shark encounter, manta snorkel, and night snorkel. We had a very rare encounter with an ornate eagle ray that we will treasure forever! When it did happen to rain, we utilised the sports centre for badminton and table tennis, or snorkelled the house reef with the lovely rain on our backs. We didn't have the opportunity to visit the Coconut spa, but the staff and facilities looked amazing. We don't think another holiday destination will ever live up to our experience at Reethi Beach.

Short version: this is paradise on earth and you will have the time of your life in this hotel. Long(er) version: I was traveling alone and therefore was looking for a safe and welcoming place. My experience began when I landed from the seaplane and was welcomed by the most amazing staff. Welcome drinks and tour of the resort and room. Every morning would start with a great breakfast, loads of variety and fresh fruits. Same for dinner when on half board (as I was), the hotel really tries to change the setting and menu every night. The watervillas are amazing and super clean. The view is unbelievable. My only thing would be that, because there is a little sandbank in front of my villa, people from the neighboring villas would come and it can sometimes lack a little privacy. I had the privilege to be offered a complimentary lunch in the beautiful water restaurant where Sajan, Hassan and Reefa treated me like royalty! I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and dedication. In the evening, Majid is the best waiter you can have in the main restaurant. He remembers your name and what you like to make sure you have the best experience. Thank you Majid! Another huge highlight is OceanFanatics, the diving center of the resort. They offer trips only when they are guaranteed that some Mantas or WhaleSharks are spotted, so you don’t miss them! I also signed up for what seemed like a terrifying experience: night snorkeling! It is a must do as it was the best time of my life. Thank you to the diving staff for making me feel comfortable and safe in the water. Overall, I cannot stress enough how cute, human size and welcoming this resort is. Thank you!!

Our stay at Reethi Beach Resort was nothing short of magical! The location and accommodation is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so incredibly lovely! We stayed in one of the stunning over-water villas and were able to step off our balcony into the turquoise blue ocean, where just underneath the surface was one of the most beautiful and healthy reefs we've ever seen (and we're from Australia with the Great Barrier Reef). On the house reef alone there were 1000s of beautiful tropical fish, turtles, reef sharks, dolphins, and even manta rays! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as wonderful as possible! Some key angels on the island include: At the Moodoo Bar and Restaurant (beautiful over-water restaurant): Rayan, Emee, Reefa, Ali and Chandra At the Coconut Spa: Shivali and her wonderful team At the bar: The sweetest bartender Priya And the managers Dammi and Gaurang The food and drink on the island was absolutely delicious and there was such a wide range of it too! Would highly recommend the private beach dinner and sunrise breakfast, as well as the wine pairing dinner and beach BBQ. We went with the breakfast only package which worked really well for us as we could dine wherever we liked (which was more often than not the Moodoo bar where the lovely and friendly staff were). The only point of feedback was that the dive centre is quite disorganised and not great at communicating. We came during the first weekend of August for the manta ray cyclone at Baa Atoll and were unfortunately unable to see the cyclone due to the lack of communication from the dive centre. However, Barney almost made up for it with the incredible night snorkelling with a 10m whale shark! In any case, the snorkelling and freediving on the house reef was spectacular. Also, the mattresses in the villas could be made softer. We are hoping to come back to the Maldives soon and will now always stay at Reethi Beach Resort as our holiday there was that magical.
