The 2nd day we stayed, they were able to upgrade our room, and the next two days, we enjoyed a larger space and a king bed with a balcony, aircon, and a larger ensuit. We would recommend this hotel based on the staffs willingness to help. The hotel was 13 min walk to both train stations and 10 mins to the centre of town. Also very good orange juice served at the cafe across the road. We enjoyed the pool.

Spacious comfortable room. Hotel management & staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice pool small/ medium, not crowded during stay. Large free car parking space opposite the hotel. Good location for visiting the historic centre - the Salvadore Dali museum, Esglesia San Pere etc. On foot this takes approx. 12 mins from hotel. Alternatively the taxi booked by the hotel to the museum was reliable, costed approx 10 euros each way. (www.etaxi.es Phone no. 972 500 008 or 972 505 043) There is a lovely cafe in the Placa d'Englesia, Dalicatessen with friendly and helpful staff.

Room OK Parking Good. I am a little concerned with the sleepers there as it needs to be secure park A couple of people `Nesting` in or around the carpark Breakfast good bout needs to be included in room charge

Parking off road. Walking 15 mins to town. Bed comfortable enough, bathroom upgraded and modern, though still an overbath shower, not walk-in. Towels big and fluffy.Staff tried to be helpful.

The staff here were brilliant; not that I needed anything out of the ordinary, it's just that they were uniformly friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was both good and very affordable. The room was fine; not amazing, but perfectly acceptable. The hotel is a ten minute walk or a short bus ride to the train station for Barcelona, which was my main reason for choosing it.
