As a digital nomad I have come around many hostels all over the world. So here a more detailed review from my perspective as a female traveler, on a budget, working during the trip. Some feedback on categories that are most important for me: Location: The building is in a quieter residential area of the old town. The cab dropped me off quite close to the hostel which was a plus because I did not have to carry my luggage very far. But you will have to walk about 15 minutes and find your way through the labyrinth of narrow streets to get to the market area of the medina where the action happens. Wifi: The ground floor has a dedicated work area and it is possible to work in the main lobby as well. Wifi is okay. I had several video calls and there was typically one disconnect of a few seconds during each call, other than that it worked. Showers: The shower was hot, clean and with great water pressure. There were no towels. Rooms: I stayed in the 3 bed female dorm. The room was nice and spacious enough with stained glass windows and blinds that completely blacked out the room during sleeping. Design: There were many of the typical colorful design elements. The building is not necessarily super stylish but it is pretty. Be ready to go up a number of stairs depending on what room you book. Bed: I was assigned the lower bunk in a metal frame bunk bed. I received a thick wool blanket but the thing sheet that you usually have underneath it was missing. I was happy that I had brought my sleeping bag. The bed was squeaky and made noise anytime I moved. But there was also a sturdier bed in the room. There were power outlets right next to my bed, but it was missing a "reading light, outlet and shelf" installation that you may find in other places. Cleanness: the rooms, bathrooms, lobby and work area was always clean. Only the terrace didn't feel very inviting. Good hostel set in a beautiful house with friendly staff and a fantastic rooftop. Massive dorm rooms and free breakfast .Stopped for 5 nights and would highly recommend. Find the hostel by entering the Medina through Bab Jdid archway

Gorgeous Riad. I loved the architecture and every details of the decorations. It has a peaceful vibe and absolutely enjoyed my stay there. Morticia the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly even though I checked in at midnight! The breakfast was good. The localisation is great and there are coffee shops and restaurants close by. The taxi driver can drop you at 5 mns walk from the hotel but there are some stairs to climb. The rooms are large and not overcrowded by beds and I really hope they will keep it that way as it makes this place enjoyable. I actually had the best nights sleep in a dormitory in this hotel! The travellers I met were friendly and I visited the city for 2 days with one of them :) So I totally recommend this place and for that price it is unbeatable :)

Funky Fes were fantastic hosts! Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were really helpful in organising a day trip to Chefchaouen. Also provided a really enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Fes.
