Amina and Abdila were wonderful hosts, Dar el Arfaoui is a spectacular traditional old house with really beautiful artistic features. The place was easy to find, a great location, very clean, everything functioned perfectly, and the breakfasts were the best we've experienced anywhere in Morocco. For sure we'll return to stay in Dar el Arfaoui again.

The place looks really authentic with remarkable architectural details. The lady who runs it is extremely kind and helpful. It is not luxury type riad but we really appreciated its character. It is well located - close to Fes's old town market but also close to secure public parking which was handy as we traveled by car. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful.

The staff was amazing, incredibly warm, caring and welcoming. The riad is old but very well kept and very authentic. The mosaic walls are impressive. A very positive experience to remember.

We really enjoyed staying here! The room was clean and comfortable, and our hosts were so sweet and welcoming. The homemade breakfast each morning was such a treat, and it kept us going for the entire day. Felt like we were staying at someone's house and was a lovely escape from the craziness of the medina.
