We had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived until the moment we were dropped off by them at the airport was magical. Gianni, Antonio and Marina (Hi to Miriam too) worked very, very hard to make everything perfect for every guest. This beautiful Masseria is peaceful, quiet, relaxing and the perfect place to escape the fast paced, crazy world we live in! The family run business proved customer service is very much alive and well in Fasano, Italy! The cookery class we attended was so much fun and then you get to eat what you made - included was wine, singing and dancing in the kitchen with (Antonella and Mama/Auntie Cucina)our teachers. We loved this place (surrounded by Olive trees) and these people - we have promised ourselves to return! The swimming pool, tennis court, Lilly the dog, the walk into town, the wonderful welcome, the room, the location - all was fantastic. A great experience. We can only thank you lots! Customer service is alive and well here!

Everything! The Masseria Don Sante is a real find! a genuine family-run Masseria set in a fabulous gardens, surrounded by olive groves which the family farm. Our room was comfortable, cool, spotlessly clean, super efficient shower; breakfast buffet fabulous with special touches: home-made cakes, croissants and fruit tarts, eggs if you want them, great coffee. Food outstanding, dinners as well as lunch. We didn’t hire a car so used the shuttle service often, to and from the Fasano train station but also to explore neighbouring towns and villages. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the pool. (a good quality tennis court for tennis players. The family couldn’t do enough for us. All in all we had a fantastic stay.

Masseria Don Sante is a sprawling adobe style hotel that is one the first visitor accomodations to service Fusano and this part of Puglia. Greeted by the charming and helpful Antonio (whose English is excellent) we were offered two choices of rooms and when the beds were a little short for my husband, a third and suitable option was immediately found. Dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night was worthy of a Michelin award. Angela was responsible for a series of entree plates that heroed the produce of the surrounding area - each as delicious as it was delicate. Local wines enhanced this experience. The facility offers a large pool and tennis for those whose knees are still up to it. Great jumping off point to visit area highlights - Locorotondo is pretty hilltop town and Alberobello boasts the extraordinary Trullis (cone shaped houses made from limestone bricks). Go early.
