Monte Borboleta is really beautiful, in reality perhaps even more than in the pictures. Laurent thought of every little detail. We enjoyed everything including the comfortable villa and a wonderful terrace where we spent most of the time. The location was peaceful and nice. The pool area is great as well. We didn’t have a car but it was not a big issue as it was just about 10 EUR to get to Faro by Uber. I would love to return here one day.

Loved this place! The owner, Laurent settles you in nice and makes sure that you’ve got everything you need. Although you really don’t need much once you have checked in, this place has got it all and tops it with a stunning pool area. We’ll be back for sure!

Our stay at Monte Borboleta was nothing short of spectacular. The place itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views that create the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The swimming pool and surrounding garden area is simply spectacular. The rooms were very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with cutlery, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine, a gas stove, and a fridge. It is also worth mentioning the amazing host, Laurent. He was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed and more. This peaceful and quiet retreat is ideal for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. We highly recommend Monte Borboleta for a serene and enjoyable stay. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful, peaceful location and accommodation. Laurent was an amazing host , giving lots of advice on restaurants, places to visit etc and if we had experienced any problems I have no doubt he would have been on hand to help. A wonderful, relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

The property and its location is truly amazing, immaculate gardens surrounding a beautiful pool with views out over Faro and to the ocean beyond. Fabulous for watching the sunset. Laurent is a lovely host, his ethos is all about guests relaxing and decompressing from the stresses of life 🙂 The apartment was comfortable and again we enjoyed the fabulous view. All together one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had.

Absolutely lovely villa apartment, comfortable bed and of course the view! We loved the pool and the fact it's saltwater. Even though it's shared, most of the time we had the outside to ourselves or with just one other couple. There is a dog sanctuary a 7 min walk away, if you like dogs go and ask if you can walk them one morning!

Amazing location with a lovely host. Laurent was incredibly friendly and extended helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Villa was simply but tastefully furnished and really clean. Heaters and large TV available for those colder days/nights if you didn’t want to venture away. The elevated patio for sole use just outside the lounge doors had wonderful views and a beautiful place to eat/drink/relax. Main pool area was equally superb.

we were a little sceptical if the location really looked like the pictures we saw when making the booking. And we were most certainly not disappointed when we arrived.it did. The view from the location was breathtaking. The appartment was very comfortable and very clean. The owner Laurent was very friendly and informative about things to do and places to go. The roads leading up to the location (last 800 meters) certainly need some maintainance. Overall I would highly recommend Monte Borboleta as a great location and a place were you can certainly find peace and quiet with a fantastic view.
