The staff are always very efficient and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is nicely cooked and well presented. We stayed for two nights with a good, hearty breakfast included. We booked for dinner on one night. It was very tasty and priced reasonably. The hotel has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a pretty, well-kept garden for guests to use. The shops and theatre are within easy walking distance and Fareham train station a short drive away. This was our third visit to Lysses.

My son and myself always stay here when we are visiting Goodwood. The parking is private and secure, it’s 25 mins to the venue and the hotel although tired has a real old fashioned charm about it which we both like. Everything about it takes us back to the 80’s. The food is excellent

Really lovely hotel. The room was clean and spacious and the shower was amazing! Never had such a powerful shower in a hotel. I have coeliac disease and the staff were amazing and were able to safely make me a cooked breakfast with gluten free toast. Also great location for seeing a show at Fareham Live.

Disliked the fact I had to pay for parking as there were no parking spaces available, spoke to one of the staff about it, she was very dismissive!!

The staff are incredibly friendly. Breakfast stops being served at 9 and I arrived just moments before but didn't feel rushed at all. When I checked in the guy on the desk was helpful and explained everything well and when I checked out the lady on reception was friendly and chatty. Brilliant stay. Oh, and parking was easy at the rear of the hotel
