Staff were amazing and the service was excellent. Large rooms with everything you need for a base to explore Famagusta. Fantastic location, within minutes walking distance of the majority of cultural and historic sites. For those who are able, Varosha is a walkable distance with no real nerd to hire a car or use public transport.

Where to start?!!! I had an amazing stay at Golden Palms Guest House for 3 nights, it was absolutely the rightest choice in Famagusta (Gazimağusa). The location was excellent: it is in the middle of the old town - surrounded by historical places, cafes, bars, shops, etc. The room was spacious with all the facilities I needed, and the view from the room was one of the highlights. Most importantly, there was such a friendly atmosphere in the hotel that I never felt that I was traveling alone. MANY thanks to Mr. Ertunç and the rest of the staff for their outstanding hospitality! Highly recommended - if you come to Famagusta, choose here!

Location, character of property, host, bedrooms, breakfast, car parking. There was nothing about this property i did not like. If in Famagusta this should be the place you stay

All staff members go over and above to meet the needs of each holiday maker. Breakfast is fresh, organic and plentiful. There is an attention to detail, throughout the accommodation, this is done through love of their work and an enthusiasm to share positive experiences. The figs that are given at breakfast, come from the trees in the garden. Wonderful pieces of art work can be purchased too. Wifi is free. There are plenty of historical buildings to visit near by. Useful amenities near by. Guest house is very well located. Palm beach and Devran beach and restaurant are 35min walk away; the walk there is scenic. It is a clean, golden sandy beach. The wifi is free. This holiday has inspired and revitalised me, giving me lovely memories. I definitely recommend it and will go back at some point. Much credit to the family run business. The location is absolutely unbeatable. No brainer if you want to visit the old town of Famagusta and the surroundings. Rooms were nice and tidy. Breakfast in the garden with a beautiful view of the cathedral. Staff very courteous (family run).

Fantastic Hotel in a great Host original property maintained historical architecture which is the main building family owned with great heritage within the grounds of historic famagusta old town 10 minutes walk to fabulous palm beach, small walk to old town where you shop drink and dine traditional Turkish cypriot style and very reasonable prices. If I won the lottery I would buy this beautiful place, absolutely perfect
