The fine print
Although the hotel do not have a formal dress code, they do ask guests to dress smartly for dinner; jackets for gentlemen preferred (no shorts, t-shirts, trainers or similar).Breakfast and dinner are provided for families with children under 6 years old in the restaurant annex, which has lovely views over the garden. Children aged 6 and over can join their parents in the main restaurant. Alternatively, the property can provide children’s Cornish High Tea at 17:30 in the Conservatory, or as room service. Before and after dinner, families with children under 6 are welcome to use the Helford Lounge, which is equipped with board games. Babysitting services can be provided on request.Please note, at certain times of day, the swimming pool is reserved for adults only.Please note that The Natural Health Spa is closed on Mondays.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The grounds were nice and warm welcome from reception when we arrived. The room appeared and smelt clean.

All lovely really but I had to ask a waitress what to do when I arrived in the breakfast room rather than her direct me which is not a problem but just so you know.. perhaps they thought I knew the routine.

All of the dining experience was of a high standard. Excellent food properly cooked with great service and friendly staff in a nice dining room. Plenty of parking and some electric charging points. We used the pool and sauna which was very pleasant. the hot tub was out of action due to the weather. We know the gardens and golf course from previous visits and can highly recommend the outdoor space. We didn't explore this time due to storm Bert! My wife misplaced her jacket which was located by the hotel and returned very efficiently.

Hotel and bedrooms were very good quality and the coffee in the room was quality - it was a great experience good breakfast too and fire with a beer in the evening. Used the sauna and pool before working breakfast

From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional. Nothing was a problem and they looked after so well checking was easy. Parking was great and we had the best time.
