We liked everything. A cosy old traditional house in the centre of the medina. The hosts are a young couple - very pleasant people, always ready to help with any question. They even met us at the entrance to the old part of the medina so that we would not get lost. You can always write on WhatsApp to ask what you need, such assistance was very pleasant. The hotel has everything you need, everything is very clean and pleasant, there is air conditioning and breakfast is served from 9am. The breakfast is very tasty - bread, tortillas, olives, jam, butter, honey, tahini tea or just great local coffee. By the way, they can also help you with excursions if necessary, you can ask or even book in advance or on the spot. We arrived at Fez airport and took a transfer through them for $20. The hotel is in a good location, everything is bright in the evening, you can walk around safely. There is a café and a market nearby. We really liked it there. P.s. For animal lovers - you can use some small money to buy food for stray cats - there really are a lot of them in Fes.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guest house in Fez Medina, conveniently located near the iconic Blue Gate. The rooms were not only comfortable but also tastefully decorated with traditional Moroccan elements, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Despite the affordable price, the amenities were impressive, including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a delightful complimentary breakfast each morning. What truly made my stay memorable was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and at home. They were always available to offer tips on local attractions, assist with bookings, and even arrange transportation. In summary, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, comfortable, and culturally immersive place to stay in Fez Medina, this guest house near the Blue Gate is an excellent choice.
