This is an old hotel in the Exmoor district but time has not been too kind and it needs a makeover. However it is a friendly warm hotel and offered good food and comfy beds The staff were helpful and polite and We would stay again.

A super location for 'dark sky' activities. Super friendly staff. Fabulous log fire on a winter night. Good food in the bar. Great breakfast. Exceptional value.

A great location with very friendly accommodating staff/family, food was excellent with plenty of choice and amount. Parking is very easy and access to all of Exmoor from The Crown is very simple.

Great location and atmosphere. Room was a good size, warm and comfortable, nice view over the village green. We ate in the bar which was busy with a broad menu choice. Very good breakfast and easy check out.

Extremely friendly staff; lovely listed building; comfortable but not modern state of the art fittings; food was tasty and well cooked; very welcoming with a great ambience; central to Exmoor.

Due to my husband having a fall we were unable to go down to breakfast and chose not to have breakfast so unable to comment, we had evening meals in our room which were good
