I've been several times. They are friendly and the home-made food makes a welcome dinner after the chains.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Matt does a grand job. Rooms were lovely and always happy to stay here, either in the apartment or hotel rooms. Breakfast was fabulous

Very clean and nicely decorated. Great shower, hot and powerful. Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful, they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The manager deserves a special mention, especially for bringing our dog a sausage for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent, and we ate there on the evening and had a very nice meal.

Lovely room, easy parking, super friendly staff and a great breakfast in the morning. We were only here for one night, but would not hesitate to return. Very convenient for the M5.

A lovely pub - easy check in and very kind and friendly staff. A lovely welcome on arrival and the member of staff was very helpful. Food in the pub was nice and breakfast in the morning which was included was an added bonus. Nice little touches in the room (homemade biscuits) which was also very spacious and well equipped.

Excellent building stacked with history. Friendly staff. shout to breakfast lady who was lovely. Ample parking. Good food. Extra note pub is not open all day through the week

Excellent customer service . We only had breakfast which we throughly enjoyed along with friendly conversation with staff . All round lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Very clean comfy room with extras of homemade biscuits. Would recommend. Hope to come back soon.

A pleasant stay Staff were friendly & helpful. Tasty breakfast with excellent coffee. The food was made with quality ingredients. Have stayed in nearly a dozen hotel rooms since July (most far more expensive) but had the best night's sleep here.
