These compact rooms are in a newly converted stable block, and offer comfort and relaxation. The Blue Ball is only 6 minutes from Exeter Airport.
The rooms come with limited views and include a 32-inch flat-screen HD TVs, power showers and WiFi.
Meals are served in the pub next door and are also available at the sister pub The Puffing Billy in Exton.
Exeter city centre is a 10-minute drive away. The Ball is conveniently located for Exeter Chiefs’ rugby stadium and Devon’s glorious beaches and attractions.

Helpful staff on arrival, quick to recommend booking a table as the restaurant was going to be busy.meals,service beers all good. Compliments to all staff. Rooms were clean, and right next to the parking for our car/van. Breakfast was absolutely stomach bursting , the Hungarian couple , chef and table service U can only commend, helpful and friendly, good luck guys for the future.

Very convenient for my trip. Some people may have found the road noise disturbing but it didn’t affect my stay. The food was really lovely - the best curry I’ve had in a while. Babs was lovely; very friendly and helped me feel comfortable.

Modernised thatched pub with a modern restaurant. Quaint atmosphere in the bar with a stylish addition. Good to see an independent business expanding and thrive. Staff very attentive and willing to meet requests. EV charging onsite if required. Close to Exeter and the M5 but very much in the country. A warm Devon welcome awaits.

I arrived on a Sunday evening - they do not serve food on Sunday evenings which i did not know at the time of booking. However, they did call me in the morning to warn me of this and advised that Deliveroo/ Uber Eats deliver so they offered an easy alternative ahead of time which was good news. Breakfast doesn't start until 9:30am!!! Really unsuitable for working travellers. My room was nice looking, it was clean enough but not the cleanest place i have ever stayed and it smelt so badly of damp, so much so that my clothes i had with me smelt damp when i got home 2 days later. The room was really cold, even after turning the thermostat up. The location was perfect for me to access M5 in the morning. I did eat in the pub on the Monday night and the food and service were very good.

Coeliac family catered for brilliantly, at breakfast and dinner which can be difficult to find. Very comfortable quiet rooms
