Hotel Overview

Surrounded by gardens, fruit trees and vineyards, this hotel is located only 2 km from the city walls of Évora. It offers a salt water swimming pool and features solar panels, which provide most of the property's electricity.

This was a very nice family hotel which was outside the center of town. It was quiet and restful. Breakfast was included and it had a lot of choices.

The location was convenient for our needs--not in the city center, more on the outer loop. The bed was comfortable and the towels fluffy. The breakfast was good-homemade pastries and fresh-squeezed oj.

Location was great, a little outside the city into the country but only a few minutes by car into the centre and a wonderful view of the city from our balcony. Rooms were comfortable with enough space for our needs. Breakfast was good and the hotel owner, her husband and their staff were welcoming and very helpful. The swimming pool, whilst a little chilly, was a great bonus. We had the pool area to ourselves on our recent visit.

The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable - all memory foam I believe. This was great as our previous three nights were spent on a less-than-comfortable mattress. We had a warm welcome from the owners/managers, which was really nice in this day and age. Breakfast was varied and ample, with more food being brought out continually. My partner doesn't drink coffee and it was no trouble at all for a member of staff to find English teabags and a kettle for hot water. There is plenty of free parking within the hotel grounds and it is within walking distance of Evora (about 2.5 km) so you can avoid driving into the busy city if you wish (we walked). We could actually see the cathedral from our room.

breakfast, room and staff were excellent. No complaints about the check-in process which was seemless and very efficient. Parking was on site and safe for motorcycles.
