Ideally, it was the location, because we'd been there before. Thought we'd take our daughter and two grandkids, because of the pool. But weather was a bit iffy. Also our other daughter, husband and two kids were also in the Mantra for two nights, we for three nights. Also liked the closeness of Ettalong Diggers for dinner and other eateries in town.

I picked my access cards up from Raine and Horn and the property manager was very friendly and professional. The staff at the Mantra who you have to walk past at the accommodation are exceptional. Particularly the lovely Erin. The Mantra need to pay this woman more money. All of the Mantra staff that we encountered were just so nice and so helpful from the awesome reception desk ( who didn’t have to help us since we were a private stay) to the cleaners in the Mantra who happily took away our garbage. The location is perfect for Ettalong, a short walk to cafe heaven or a nice morning walk along the beach front to the Ocean view surf club (best breakfast burger ever). The view from this unit was stunning and our afternoons lying on the deck chairs looking out over the water reading a book will be missed.

Perfect location for us. Used the big balcony overlooking the water for some pre wedding photos. Good facilities in the unit. Helpful staff at the key pickup offices.
