The hotel was large, with a nice lobby and the rooms were really big, a big bathroom and really clean. The hotel was also quite close to the city center (just 10 mins walk). They didn't have parking space for us, but there was a parking garage right opposite to the hotel where we parked our car for 8 euros (until next morning). The breakfast was also nice and fresh. So, overall nice stay.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the center, only about 10 min walk with a slow 5 year old. And 15 mins to Essen train station with the 5 year olds little feet. The shower was the world's best shower. It was remarkable. Price. Booked a week in advance and a fantastic price. If you want all the fancy trimmings book somehwhere else. But this ticked every box, for the price it was great!

Everything was as expected so can't complain. Proximity to the downtown, fine breakfast with enough options to pick. Definitely to recommend for short stay

Size of the room was big & design of the hotel was great. Very unusual in a good way. The staff was very friendly & they allowed us to make early check-in.
