We stayed there for 4 nights and the location, the size of the room and the daily cleaning were good. We booked it with breakfast and it was delicious every day. The staff was nice and helpful.

Opening my bedroom door directly onto the terrace for breakfast (and relaxing in the evening / night) was an extraordinary experience! A real bonus having my own front door key to come and go without disturbing anyone late at night. The good generous breakfast was prepared with a welcoming smile under the shade of a natural parasol up on the large roof terrace. The position of the Riad in the Medina was great...and quiet compared with others I have stayed at (even though it was a few steps from a main lively thoroughfare full off shops, cafes and lots of people). All of the team at the Riad were wonderfully welcoming and informative..and it was a pleasure helping with an English lesson one evening in the foyer of the Riad...(I am an English teacher by profession..so nice to help and support the young lady on reception with her future studies). The bathroom was quite small but it was a great traditional design...especially the shower!

Breakfast was served on the roof. It was fantastic, the best in morroco so far. There was lots of lovely toasted baguette bread, selection of jams and honey, pastries, and a fried egg, I particularly liked the spiced coffee. The location was just off one of the main streets, so you were in the centre of things, but because we had an inside Riad Room, it was pretty quiet.

It was fun finding this place. It is very well located just off one of central Essaouira's main streets, but you really have to look for it. Google Maps is useless here. The hotel sign is set high above the dark wooden doored entrance, almost lost in history. Knock on the door and someone will open quickly, as the reception cubicle is just inside. What you see is a traditional, if modest, riad. It is well furnished throughout. The top terrace has great views over Essaouira. This is also where you can enjoy a very good yet simple Moroccan style breakfast. My room was light and airy, the bed perfect and the shower hot. The people are, as always, wonderful.

Lovely comfy bed. Lashing of hot water easy to use shower. Clean and comfortable. Good size rooms. Good size terrace. Lovely breakfast plenty to eat good orange juice and coffee. A good place to stay.

Great location right in the middle of the medina. Lovely staff. Cleaned top to bottom every day (despite what other reviewers say). Lovely roof terrace, good breakfast. Perfect for a solo trip. The building is in the medina and it’s very old so don’t expect perfection, but this is a good budget option.
